Burn Toast Records is back with a brand new release called « My Wave EP », signed Vaskez, a French artist, manager of With Us Records label and coming from Bordeaux.

In this EP, you will find three original tracks. The first one « My Wave » joins the house music category, the second « Since The Beginning » is profoundly rich in deep and tuneful synthesizers, leading to the third track « Kurvacid » fruit of the collaboration between Nils Jumpen and Wolf, which is radically different, closer to the « UK bass music » including acid sounds and eccentric voices.

This EP integrates four remixes, the first « My Wave » remixed by Tuff Wheelz in a slower tempo song, directed deep. The Come Close duet revisits this one, providing it a funky groove and hypnotic melodies!

The parisian duet Hornets appropriates « Since The Beginning », adding techno rhythms and sensual voices. On the contrary, the Belgian duet Nah like makes a different work, including some sweet sounds so as to create a magical mix!

Here it is! The new EP from the rising french artist D.Fine. This young newcomer from Bordeaux is really taking his place on the french house scene. He already signed EPs on french labels like The Dead Speaker Office and Anchor Factory, and on the english label It_tizz Recordings.

He’s now back with Creep EP, his first release on Burn Toast Records in which you’ll find two original tracks from the artist. The first one called Creep, a very attractive track due to his irresistible groove and catching vocals. This track will take you to the dancefloor and won’t let you go… The second track, Get it On Night is sis also very house music, a bit deeper and relaxing, a track that will send you away, so just close your eyes and get ready to take off!

On this EP there’s also three remixes, the first one from Poupon, a canadian producer who collaborated with Prince Club on Snatch! Records and is actually working on a project with D.Fine. Poupon brought his very personal forceful touch to offer us this typically tech-house remix.

The second remix is from The Quest, a belgian artist who released his Swirl EP on Burn Toast Records in october. He turns Creep into a bass music/uk track making you bounce using a deep vibrating ambiance and vocals which will take you higher!

Last but not least, Pur Sim’s remix, another french artist who’s already playlisted by French Fries or Sound Pellegrino Thermal Team. For this very rhythmic remix, he was inspired by his bass and house influences.

French-Swiss artist The Quest grew up in Strasbourg (France). He is now combining musical notions and graphism as parts of his work in Belgium. He participated and won some remix contests for Amari (It) and Sold Out (Be). Then, he appeared on SeekSickSound compilation I just before releasing his first EP on Monkey See Monkey Do with a remix of Max Le Daron.

The Quest: ‘As far as my influences on Swirl EP and my other current productions are concerned, I’m just trying to have a really good time and I’ve eventually figured out that I’m mixing my whole musical background. I always try to have on one hand a black music, r’n’b, hip-hop, soul influence or something like that, and on the other hand big beats to make it sound good. ‘Club’ sonorities are not dominant on my work, I’m actually more focusing on the vibe. Roughly, I’m trying to get a content that is more and more exclusive. I like the swag, surprises and big vibes.’

In his new Swirl EP, The Quest shows up a panel of remarkable tracks. His musical eclecticism, his fat rhythmics, crazy basses that are blowing your mind and your perception of music. Techno influences and also tech-house, house and booty ones characterize the audacious melodies of these sounds.

With Swirl, The Quest is juggling with tropical rythms, house vocals, acid melodies and “wooble”; with Drop, which is more ‘booty’ sounding, The Quest switches to a different theme and achieves making us dance till death.

Burn Toast Records introduces you some of its best remixes such as:

Big Dope P, Moveltraxx label manager, and his remix of Drop, a mixture of juke, hip house and tropical bass,

Clarks and his smashing touch of electro house for his Swirl remix,

Raziek, Booty Call’s member, his Drop remix with a good ghetto club attitude effect.

Last but not the least, D.Fine, member of the Come Close duet, gives us such a good deep house of Dey Wanna.
